2026年4月より、独奏コントラバスの新たな地平を切り拓くプロジェクト『12 Premieres（トゥエルブ・プレミア）』を始動いたします。

Starting in April 2026, we will launch "12 Premieres," a project that will open up new horizons for solo double bass.

 

12曲、そして未知の領域へ

12 works, and into uncharted territory

 

4月の木下正道氏による新作を皮切りに、7月までのわずか3ヶ月間で、日本人作曲家による新作・新稿12作品を集中的に初演。一人の奏者がこれほどの質と量で新作を世に問うのは、日本の音楽史上でも極めて異例の事態です。

2026年後半には、海外作品の初演を含むさらなる展開も予定されており、プロジェクトは未知の領域へと加速します。

 

Beginning with a new work by Masamichi Kinoshita in April, 12 new or newly written works by Japanese composers were premiered intensively over a mere three months until July. It is extremely rare in the history of Japanese music for a single performer to present such a large quantity and quality of new works to the world.

Further developments, including the premiere of overseas works, are planned for the latter half of 2026, accelerating the project into uncharted territory.

At the heart of this project are two innovative groups with whom Yamamoto has a deep relationship of trust.

【チーム百万石】：第一線で活躍を続け多彩なキャリアを持つ、日本現代音楽協会会員の有志（結成当時）による作曲家グループ（小川類、中川俊郎、橋本信、松尾祐孝、森田泰之進 各氏）。

A group of composers formed by volunteers (at the time of its formation) who are members of the Japan Society for Contemporary Music and have diverse careers, continuing to be active on the front lines of the music scene.

かわうち会

Kawauchi

 

【かわうち会】：既成の枠組みを揺さぶる実験精神を持つ作曲家であり、かつ自らも（即興）演奏家である5人の尖鋭的な集団（池田拓実、木下正道、鈴木治行、冷泉 各氏、および山本）。

A cutting-edge group of five composers with an experimental spirit that shakes up established frameworks, and who are also (improvisational) performers themselves.

独奏コントラバスにとって、これほど多彩な芸術的感性に基づく新作初演が続くのは稀有な機会であり、楽器の新たな可能性を探究する挑戦となります。

For a solo double bass, it is a rare opportunity to have so many premieres of new works based on such diverse artistic sensibilities, and it represents a challenge to explore new possibilities for the instrument.

■ すべては4月、即興から開幕する

プロジェクトは4月、音楽の父・バッハという「秩序」を即興で解体・再構築するライブから幕を開けます。

12もの新作が産声をあげるこの3ヶ月。初演という名の「未知なる音との遭遇」は、単なる演奏会の枠を超え、スリリングな音楽体験となるはずです。 

 

■ It all begins in April, with improvisation

The project kicks off in April with a live performance that deconstructs and reconstructs the "order" of Bach, the father of music, through improvisation.

Twelve new works will be born during these three months. These premieres, these "encounters with unknown sounds," will transcend the boundaries of a mere concert and promise to be a thrilling musical experience.
